Today Kaz and Reda are answering your questions.
Mohammed in Iraq wants to know the difference between must and have to.
Kaz explains that "must" has many uses. The best known is when you are required to do something. For example "You must complete this application form".
The negative is "mustn't". For example: "You mustn't disturb me whilst I'm working".
"Have to" has a similar meaning. For example; "All new students have to complete the application form".
However, there are differences in the negative form. The negative of "have to" is "don't have to"; this doesn't mean the same as "mustn't". For example: "You musn't stay here" means "It is important you don't stay here". But "You don't have to stay here" means "It doesn't really matter whether you do stay here, or you don't".
There's an idiom question from Nasser. He wants to know the meaning of the phrase to face the music.
Kaz explains that it means to a accept a situation and to be brave enough to accept criticism for something you have done.
